Lastly for tonight Sunday), I am finishing a “Mushroom” for a little guy whose is in my granddaughter Lizzy’s family. His name is Cooper. He is such a great little guy. I am using some of the items Andrea sent to me.—-Please, if you know a handicapped child—one with Special Needs OR an adult with special Needs—or someone who needs an uplift, please let me know. I will pay shipping so there is no cost. I want my art to bring joy!
Here is #3 of the “Hanging Ornament Balls” that I will be hanging in our patio. This one has one of Sam McKamie’s birds resting on it. (I love Sam’s Birds) I finished the bird in 1-Shot enamel
These “Hanging Ornament Balls” look so good hanging at the end of a chain in the patio. The sunlight bounces off and lets you know it is there. I am presently working on three to hang in our patio. Here is #2.
Last night (Tuesday) about midnight I photographed this Garden Stake I had just completed. It was in the dark studio/garage so the photos are not as good as I would like. The Garden Stake is the largest I have done. I would estimate it to be 30″ tall —the top ball portion is about 4″ round. It is heavy. I will be doing more of these. This can be place directly into the ground or in a planter box–It has a very sharp end.
This is the first time I have ever incorporated one of Sam McKamie’s carved birds into the Hanging Ornament Balls. OMG I love the way it turned out–will be hung in our patio tomorrow, Wednesday. These take time as I tweak the bird and finish it in 1-Shot Enamel—Estimate time on completing one of these is portions of 3 or 4 days, perhaps longer.
Here is the latest one I am working on—-I saw a few mistakes I must correct so there are very few pictures. I love being back to working with the birds carved by Sam McKamie. I work on them a little and paint them in 1-Shot paint.
This “Mushroom” I call “Three Little Birds”. Darn, they are cute!
Tuesday two “Mushrooms” were shipped to Anchorage, Alaska, and to Utah. Yesterday, Wednesday one went to San Andres, Mexico. They love to travel!
I have been wanting to make a very light yellow “Mushroom” and finally here it is—It is yellow with a green base. Please take into account my eyes and also I am having to take the photos inside–not good!—The true color is just a tiny but lighter than the last 4 photos
The “Mushroom” for our Special needs children (can be any age). Here is one we just finished for a boy in in a different state. We are not going to give the identity of the person receiving the “Mushroom”. That will be up to the parents or whom ever is in charge. Thank You Daughter Cindy F. in Utah for providing the dinosaurs. And Thank You Arleney for assisting me with this one.
