I love the old bird carvings. Here is one I bought on eBay recently.

Red and brown Bird
Here is one more I am just completing—Again, this bird was carved by Sam McKamie, tweaked a little and painted in 1-Shot enamel by me. I added the stand and ball.
Sam McKamie’s Special Bird
OMG Sam McKamie is knocking it out of the Ball-Park with his birds, His work is amazing . Here is one of his birds, untouched by me, and it is grand! —Terry Gates, my son-in-law gave me the block to use for a stand. I covered it and made the fancy work on the dowel.
For Missy
My youngest daughter Missy saw a bird I had made which Arleney claimed. Missy love the color so much I decided to make her a piece using the same color. Here it is. “For Missy”
Weathervane Horse
I am working on a few more special pieces. This one was claimed by Arleney long before it was finished.. Perhaps this is one of my most loved pieces by the people who have seen it. It is a badly damaged antique Weathervane Horse. I am so happy it has returned to its beauty!
“Mushroom” For a 8 or 9 Year Old Girl
These photos were taken late in the afternoon–exposure was not good. This “Mushroom” was made especially for an eight or nine year old girl in the Foster Care System. I understand she likes sea shells—Thanks to Barbara Kaiser and Anthony Bozzuto—both in Florida—she has some sea shells and coral to enjoy.
For Todd in Oklahoma
Sorry for the exposure on these photos. This bird is 100% Sam McKamie’s bird. I jsut added the stand. It was shipped today to a young boy many, many miles away. I hope he enjoys it as much as I enjoyed sending it to him. He is unaware that it is enroute.
For A Young Boy Who lost His father
I recently learned that one of my young grandsons has a close buddy who lost his father. I know a “Mushroom” is not very much but it tells him someone cares and that is my goal! Here is the one I made him.
Made for a Young Boy
This Mushroom” was made for a young boy in The Foster Care System. How much I love children!
Specially for Missy
My youngest daughter Missy has the largest amount of my Birds, Garden Stakes, Hanging Ornaments. and misc. so decided to make her something special. This ball (Hanging Garden Ornament) will now measure about 6″ across. I have no idea how much it weighs but I do know there are 2 pounds of Apoxie Sculpt on it. I will
never make another one this large. This is the one and only.
